Environmental Tool - These sheep will forage in thick vegetation
for herbage and grass, thus opening up thickets and enabling new
growth. They are easily leared (hefted) on commons, ideal for ESA
managed grazing. They are content to stay in a filed where put without
having to post and wire fence to protect the headge from roaming
sheep.
Meat - Carcass value is high, having good confirmation with little
fat. With a size of 14 - 18 kilos, it is ideal for the modern consumer
and has a good flavour and texture (known as Angel meat)
Wool - Fleeces have high quality staple suitable for the clothing
industry and are of high weight value.
